Most couples now pay for their wedding entirely on their own however, following western tradition, there are set areas that each family was expected to pay for. This changes within different cultures, though attendants (wedding party members) responsibilities have not changed. Should you be fortunate enough to have family assistance with your wedding costs, the following guide may assist with navigation on where each side of the family can help.

Bride’s Family

  • Wedding ring for the groom

  • Accommodation for out-of-town bridesmaids
